Reminders:

Hopefully everyone had an opportunity to read the new Oct/Nov Newsletter.

• Let’s remember to follow our posted speed limits.
• Watch carefully for our children while driving through our community…. And of course to be careful to watch for all the people walking through too.
• A random request but an important reminder for everyone to CLOSE the garbage receptacle after throwing your garbage in. This will help keep uninvited guests out.
• Let us remember to close the laundry room after we are done. This is for everyone’s safety as well to help keep out “pests”

Pets:

We are a dog friendly community. There are several communities that do not permit any dogs. Just a few reminders:

• All Dogs must be registered. There is a $50 registration fee and a $10 monthly fee wish is added to the monthly maintenance fee.
• The board has been made aware of complaints concerning dogs unleashed or oversized & not registered. We are addressing them.
• The board has communicated recently to the whole community about unregistered dogs & have begun acting on them. There will be fines which can be up to a full year of monthly fees along with the registration fee. The registration form can be found on this site. This form includes information & immunizations.  (Very important) Concerning dogs that over the 30lb maximum weight. This will be handled on an individual basis . We all received the pet rules when we were applying to become shareholders at BOG. If you have an unregistered dog, please take care of immediately by contacting Julia, at julia@kaled.com

Landscaping:

• A lot goes into maintaining and keeping our community clean, neat and beautiful.
• Our maintenance department works very hard in maintaining our community by painting, repairing, special landscaping projects. They respond quickly when called for help. A simple wave or a thank you goes a long way.
• There are several processes that go into maintains the landscaping. From seeding fertilizing, laying down tick spray etc. Everyone would like to personally schedule when and how these projects are done. This cannot be always done. Splitting up when to spray or fertilize with the scope of what needs to be done would be pretty difficult. Let us remember that Mother Nature is usually working against this and making just keeping a planned schedule very difficult..

Quiet Time:

Please observe quiet time hours (9pm-8am) and treat your neighbors with courtesy and respect

Activities:

A little while back we had a scheduled event for “Coffee With A Cop”. 👮‍♀️ It was held in the party room. In attendance was approximately 25 residents. SCPD Officer Maio made a great presentation & answered several questions. The cookies and coffee was good as well🙂. This was a great opportunity for everyone to meet our community police & have their concerns heard. We would like to do this again in ‘27. Maybe we can fill the room.

Weather Prep Reminders:

• Keep a supply of bottled water on hand.
• Have flashlights an extra batteries on hand.
• Car ready? Full tank, Snow shovel & Ice scraper
• Check in on your neighbor.
